My name is Joanna and I am a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, with a background in Psychology. Considering therapy can feel extremely daunting, especially if you are already struggling and experiencing low mood or anxiety. I can offer you a safe and confidential space where we can collaboratively explore what's keeping your problems going.

I have worked in the Mental Health sector for over ten years with diverse groups of clients. I have worked in many different organisations dealing with a wide range of psychological difficulties. I currently offer sessions in person and remotely. I provide counselling in both English and Polish, helping clients suffering from a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and family & relationship difficulties.

I deliver predominantly CBT, however depending on your needs I will integrate other approaches including Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT). I will help you to understand your thoughts, feelings and choices and provide you with a safe space where you can explore your needs and goals. You will develop a better understanding of yourself, learn tools and techniques to encourage more helpful ways of looking at your problems and dealing with them which in turn will help you lead the life you want to lead.
