“The counselling helped me understand links between past experiences and current behaviours/thinking patterns. My counsellor also helped me change my thinking patterns to be more positive toward myself and to critique myself less. This in turn has reduced the anxiety and panic attacks I was having before. It’s also resulted in me having a healthier relationship with myself and my partner. I loved my counsellor’s approach where she asked at the end of each session how I’m feeling about therapy so far and if there is anything I’d like to change or check in with in terms of frequency/approach etc.”
